Encryption: Is the conversion of data into a form which cannot be easily understood by unauthorized people.

These activities bring automation and efficiencies to traditional manual tasks and allow quicker access to information resulting in improved member service.
Policy Details
MD Nutritionals LLC is committed to enhancing client service through the use of many forms of e-commerce activities.
Electronic commerce activities include website, email, telephone access system, payment transactions, transactional logs.
They also include business-to-business transactions where interaction is conducted electronically between MD Nutritionals LLC and its business partners using the Internet as the communications network.
It is the practice of MD Nutritionals LLC to safeguard client’s data at all times by various 3rd party applications, including the processing of e-commerce transactions. Information must be protected at both the sending and receiving ends of each transaction.
Intellectual Property and Use
Patent
A patent is the exclusive right to an inventor to manufacture, use, or sell an invention.
This can only come from the federal government. A patent must meet statutory requirements of novel, useful, and non-obvious.
MD Nutritionals LLC in-licenses 3rd party patents for use.
Trade Secrets
Trade secrets are secrets kept from the world that relate to how to manufacture, use, or sell something. They merely need to be business secrets that give companies some type of competitive advantage.
Copyright
Copyright is the exclusive right to make copies, license, and otherwise exploit a literary, musical, or artistic work, whether printed, audio, video, or other medium.
All IP is managed accordingly by MD Nutritionals LLC. MD Nutritionals LLC reserves all rights.
Should a 3rd party desire use of any IP managed or owned by MD Nutritionals LLC, that 3rd party must request license usage in writing citing what and where the intended IP would be utilized. MD Nutritionals LLC reserves the right to refuse any IP request. Should MD Nutritionals LLC grant approval for use, MD Nutritionals will periodically check that the intended approved usage confirms to the approval to the 3rd party. MD Nutritionals LLC reserves the right to revoke approved IP usage as appropriate.
Response Program
In the event MD Nutritionals LLC suspects or detects unauthorized individuals and/or company’s having have gained access to client information systems, and/or utilizing unapproved IP, MD Nutritionals LLC will report such actions to appropriate regulatory and law enforcement agencies.
